This is the home page of the South West Partnership, which aims to build alliances to improve life in the South West. This site is dedicated to tackling drugs to improve life in the South West of England.
The strategy of the South West Partnership is to improve the quality of life for the people in the community by providing alliances and systems to deal with problematic drug users. It has been suggested that well over half of all acquisitive crime is drug-related, and that the market value of goods stolen in the UK could be between £2-2.5 billion each year. If only part of the drug-related crime can be reduced, it will provide a substantial benefit to the region and help to make the South West of England a better place to live.
The principle partners are criminal justice agencies, treatment providers both statutory and voluntary, and commercial agencies providing services to support criminal justice in the South West of England.
